Discover the exciting upgrade to the Vauxhall Frontera Electric, which now offers an extended range of up to 253 miles on a single charge, all for less than £28,000. This latest version features an enhanced 54kWh battery, providing an additional 67 miles of range compared to its predecessor with a 44kWh battery.
Key Highlights of the Vauxhall Frontera Electric:
- The Frontera Electric retains the same 111bhp and 192lb ft front-mounted motor, ensuring a spirited driving experience with a 0 to 62 mph acceleration in just 13 seconds and a top speed of 88 mph.
- It supports a peak charging speed of 100kW, enabling it to achieve a 20-80% charge in approximately 28 minutes.
- Available for order starting at £27,495, this model is well-positioned below the £37,000 cap set for the UK government's Electric Car Grant (ECG).
While Vauxhall has not confirmed whether any models, including the Frontera Electric, will qualify for the ECG, similar models like the Citroën e-C3 Aircross have already been included in the scheme, which may hint at the Frontera's potential eligibility.
Available Options
The Vauxhall Frontera line also offers a variety of powertrains, with electric options starting at £23,995. There is an additional hybrid variant that comes in at £24,225 for 99bhp or £28,165 for 134bhp.
Although deliveries for the Frontera Electric were initially set to launch in spring 2025, they have been pushed back due to production delays. Keep an eye out for this exciting new electric crossover as it hits the market!
